It is a vintage replica of the most famous banjo ever played in bluegrass music. All its parts are accurate reproductions of the original. In addition, a maple neck has been added to brighten the tone compared to the original mahogany necks and a straightline tailpiece has been added to provide extra downward pressure on the bridge creating even more volume. Features also include a bound rosewood fingerboard, a die cast one piece flange and 14” bound mahogany resonator, the new GT Master planetary tuners, a 3-ply Canadian maple rim, flat-top 20-hole bell brass tone ring, and a complete setup at the Gold Tone Factory in Florida. Your Gold Tone instrument is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for an unlimited amount of time. Gold Tone will correct any construction failures without charge. Owner must cover shipping charges to and from the Gold Tone company. This warranty does not cover repairs necessitated by normal use; damage caused by misuse or accident; exposure to extremes of moisture or temperature; lacquer checking or cracking; or repair to an instrument that has been repaired by anyone other than Gold Tone or a Gold Tone authorized person.
