Hi!
I'm Pa Pa, or Bird as they came to call me since I once had skinny legs thus the nick name Bird Legs. It came to be shortened to just Bird later in life.
I've been a working musician most of my adult life having been fortunate enough to play in some decent bands along the way. In the mid 70's I even did a stint on Bass as one of Frank Zappa's many side men. In the mid 80's I "went solo" and after a 7 year run in a piano bar, and a 3 year stretch with a friend in Athens Ga, I changed my whole direction and returned to my roots (my Dad was a Baptist preacher) and began recording and performing Southern, Blue Grassy, Countryish Gospel. I opened a recording studio called "The Bird's Nest Studio" in 1988 and spent many happy hours recording and producing music there. Still do. Oddly enough, after all those years of high decibel music, I now have a love for acoustic instruments. Go figure!
